The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is a hospital for sick and injured sea turtles, and is the only hospital of its kind in the state of Georgia. Our facility offers the unique opportunity to witness sea turtle conservation and rehabilitation in action.
Every visitor is considered not only an esteemed guest, but also a valued donor. General donations are a major portion of funding needed to operate the GSTC, develop exhibits, provide educational resources and maintain all aspects of animal care.
Donations made to the GSTC allow the staff to provide valuable services and benefits to sea turtles rehabilitating at the hospital. Additionally, donations support turtle, environmental and conservation research efforts, and are the backbone of educational and awareness-raising campaigns.
Contributions exceeding $250 can be made to our facility through the Jekyll Island Foundation.
